After claiming the Group D Football Tournament earlier in the year Killary Emmets finished their season in style with this victory over Na Fianna in the Meath Under 15 Division 3 Cup final at Kilmainham. PHOTOS

Na Fianna were on the scoreboard first through Sean Treanor but Killary gained controlled when Alex Rafferty fired home a penalty. Jack McGillick followed up with a point and soon after the impressive Garvan Halligan was in for goal number two. The Syddan Castletown combination were to the dressing rooms at the break 2-2 to 0-2 in front.

That lead was extended after two minutes in the second half when McGillick raised their third green flag and leaving Na Fianna with a mountain to climb. But they keep going and points from Kyle Kavanagh, Rhys King and four in a row from Ciaran McDonagh narrowed the lead to 3-4 to 0-8. Killary needed a score to settle them and Halligan obliged from a tricky free. Matthew Kelly and Halligan added points before the full time whistle to insured victory.

After the game Helen Black presented the Declan Black Memorial Cup to joint captains Jack McGillick and Matthew Kelly.
