Moynalty came flying out after the restart, showing real intent. Eoin Gilsenan landed a two-pointer before Eanna Bennett finished superbly to the net to close the gap. Although Drumbaragh responded with points of their own, Moynalty’s defence marshalled by Dylan Farrelly, Jack Kavanagh, and Shane Bennett, began to take control, cutting out several dangerous attacks.
A controversial moment followed when Drumbaragh were awarded a goal despite strong claims for both a square ball and a direct handpass to the net. The goal stood, but Moynalty refused to be rattled. Eanna Bennett struck again for his second goal to bring his side right back into contention.
With momentum now firmly on their side, Moynalty surged ahead through fine long-range efforts from Joe McMahon and a monster two-pointer from Eoin Gilsenan. Bennett added another before Drumbaragh grabbed the final score just as the whistle sounded.
