Kiltale 4-26 Na Fianna 0-13
Kiltale eased into the Meath Senior Hurling Championship semi final with this very impressive display against Na Fianna at Pairc Tailteann.
Jack Regan turned in a masterful performance and finished with an incredible tally of 3-13.
The winners dominated from the word go. Regan and James Kelly opened their account. Na Fianna started well and a brace from Peter Slevin had them level after five minutes but from their on it was one way traffic towards their goal. Two goals inside a minute from Regan and Ross Ryan put John Donoghue’s men in control. Regan raised another two green flags before the break as Kiltale went to the dressing room 4-12 to 0-9 in front.
Early second half points from Fearghal McCabe, Regan, Kelly and Durnin put the issue beyond doubt. The winners outscored the opposition 0-10 to 0-4 in the closing twenty minutes to run out comfortable winners and set up a semi final date with Kilmessan.
