Feis Cup, Corn na Boinne, Tailteann Cup and Tailteann Shield round up

February 10, 2025

Keeper Sean Muddiman kicked a two pointer for Summerhill in their win over Simonstown

The Meath club scene is up and running, under the new rules, with the opening round of the Feis Cup, Corn na Boinne, Tailteann Cup and Tailteann Shield.

Keegan Cup holders Dunshaughlin had the minimum to spare over Rathkenny in the Feis Cup. These two will cross paths again in the championship. Holders Donaghmore Ashbourne recorded a one point win over Gaeil Colmcille at Grangegodden.

Walterstown and Moynalvey were the big winners in the Corn na Boinne. Castletown got revenge on O’Mahony’s for last years IFC semi final defeat. Duleek Bellewstown kicked 20 points against their neighbours Curraha.

St. Vincents and St. Ultans were the first up in the Tailteann Cup. The Ardcath men recorded a comfortable win at Masterson Park. Nobber began life in the junior ranks with a one point win over St. Brigid’s. Kilmainhamwood kicked 3-26 in the Tailteann Shield.
