Páirc Tailteann Navan witnessed some of the most joyous scenes ever seen at the Navan venue on Saturday October 19th. The occasion the Meath Intermediate Football Championship final and the winners Meath Hill for the very first time. It was sure a sight to behold when the final whistle was blown.

Shane McCoy’s charge came in under the radar while favourites Duleek Bellewstown, Oldcastle, St. Pats and Moynalvey fell by the wayside. The Corn na Boinne winners were rarely troubled in Group A, recorded a comfortable win in the quarter final were made to fight all the way in the semi by Ballivor and came out on top after extra time in an enthralling final against O’Mahony’s.

There was disappointment for Nobber who will ply their trade in the Junior ranks for 2025 after a relegation final defeat to Blackhall Gaels
