Scoil Naomh Eoin's Fausta Barktute with Julia Sviagla Ard Rí CNS during the Meath Cumann na mBunscol Girls Division 2/3/4/5 Shield final at Trim

Scoil Naomh Eoin and Ard Rí CNS Navan played out a very exciting draw to decide the destination of the Allianz Meath Cumann na mBunscol Girls Division /3/4/5 Shield final in the fourth game of the day at Lomans Park Trim.

Scoil Naomh Eoin dominated the first half and led 2-3 to 1-0 at the break, Mia Callan and Natalia Bikiewicz with the goals for the team in Red and Navy. Ard Ri CNS only score of the opening half was goal from Anna Browne just before the short whistle. India Moore extended Scoil Naomh Eoin’s lead with the first point for the second half before Ard Rí CNS took over. A goal from captain Martha McDonnell and 2-1 from midfielder Timea Kaminska put them three up. Scoil Naomh Eoin battled back and were rewarded when Fausta Barktute goaled with time almost up to set up a replay.
