Secretary Ciaran Flynn was thanked for his work with the application for the Sports Capital Grant which the county received €329,000 towards the upgrade of the lights in Dunganny. 

Chairman Jason Plunkett said work had already started on the tender process and he expected work to start on the upgrade next spring. They needed to get the quality of the lighting up to the standard for playing intercounty games at minor and under-20 level on at least two of the pitches.

The chairman said Leinster grants this year may be lower than previous years as land purchases were being prioritized over capital grants.

The Syddan club was congratulated on the official opening of the Tom Keegan Memorial Garden at their grounds recently. He encouraged delegates to go and have a look at it.

The Skryne club was also praised for their memorial garden which was also opened recently.
