Meath GAA have paid tribute to former senior hurling manager James (Seamus) Carney.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of James (Seamus) Carney (Bórd an Mhuilinn). 

Seamus was a player for Boardsmill, a club chairman, and in recent years an honorary club president.

At county level, Seamus was a former Meath Hurling Manager, and a member of Meath GAA Raceday Committee .

We offer our deepest sympathies to the Carney and Guy family on the passing of Seamus.
