SHC Group A: Goal king Cole trims Clann

The race is on for possession between Clann na nGael and Trim during the Meath SHC game at Boardsmill

The concession of four second half goals proved costly for Clann na nGael as Trim made it three wins in a row in this Meath SHC clash played at Boardsmill.

Three points from the outstanding James Murray and a fantastic goal from full forward Josh Harris put Trim in control in the early stages. Clann na nGael with Joe Ennis and Eamon Og O Donnchadha finding their range fought back and were level 0-10 to 1-7 at the break.

Two quick fire goals in the opening three minutes of the second half from Mikey Cole and Murray put the town side back in control and by the three quarter stage they were 3-13 to 0-14 in front. Goals number two and three followed from Cole to put the issue beyond doubt. Ennis found the back of the Trim net from a free with the last play of the game.
