Kiltale 1-22 Killyon 1-13

For three quarters of this game Kiltale were pushed all the way by Killyon in round 3 of the Meath SHC Group B played at Lomans Park.

John Donoghue’s men led at the break 0-9 to 0-5. Jack Regan accounted for five of that opening half tally while Keith Keoghan hit four points from frees for the men in red and green.

There was only four points between the teams at the midway point in the second half. James Kelly raised the first green flag but Killyon hit back with a Dylan Farrell goal to leave it 1-14 to 1-10 with 15 to go. That’s as close as Killyon got. Kiltale through Philly Garvey, Padraig Kelly (3), Cathal McCabe, Regan and James Kelly pointed to put them in firm control and leave Trim with another two points in the bag.
