This year marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of Dunsany GFC, and it is just over 30 years since the Ladies Gaelic Football Club was founded in 1992.

The two clubs have decided to combine anniversary celebrations to mark their places in the community, and there will be a get together on Saturday evening next, 11th November, in the clubhouse, to mark these milestones.

All past and present members of both clubs, sponsors and supporters, are invited to attend the 'Dunsany 6030' celebrations. A Mass will take place at 6pm in the local church, remembering deceased members of both clubs. This will be followed by a social night from 9pm which family and friends are also welcome along to, in the clubhouse.

It will see awarding of player of the year from 2019 to 2023; young player of the year from 2019-2023; and Premier Championship player of the year from 2020-22, with finger food, and music from Ollie Bird.

There is an open invitation to all associated with the clubs over the years to attend.
