Blackhall Gaels 4-12 Donaghmore Ashbourne 3-12
A youthful Blackhall side made it two from two when they beat Donaghmore Ashbourne on Sunday morning in Round 2 of the Reserve Cup in Batterstown.
It has been two good outings for the squad who along with some seasoned campaigners, has been driven mostly by debutants and the next generation of adult players in Blackhall. Charlie Ward and Tom Powderly were today's debutants with the latter, Powderly, scoring the last and crucial goal which was the difference in the end. Tadgh Brosnan, Conor Duffy and Charlie Mulligan netted the other three goals for Blackhall while Kealan Forde came off the bench at half time and added 6 points to his teams tally.
Ballinlough come to Batterstown for round 3 next Saturday and it would be fantastic to get over the line once again.
