Trim defeated Ratoath in the Senior Hurling Championship final
Trim were crowned Jubilee Cup winners for the second time in three years to complete a remarkable year on the hurling front for the Reds.
Most pundits felt that it was Ratoath’s year and a senior double was on the cards but Jimmy Canty’s men had other ideas and totally dominated final day proceedings on a miserable wet day at Pairc Tailteann.
2021 winners Kildakley fell to their neighbours in the semi-final.
Former kingpins Kiltale also reached the last four. Kilmessan and Killyon qualified from Group B to reach the quarter finals.
