Seneschalstown retained senior status with this thrilling win over Dunshaughlin at Skryne on Friday night.

Anthony Malone's men outscored fancied Dunshaughlin by 0-5 to 0-0 from the 44th minute and were well deserving of this win.
In addition they were a man down for most of the second-half, but still managed to dig out the required result.
Seneschalstown lost all three group games by a total of 34 points. Dunshaughlin managed one win, an emphatic one over Navan O'Mahonys and missed out on the business end on score-difference.
Seneschalstown lost Woodley Nicholson to a black card for a foul on Ruairi Kinsella in the 37th minute with Dunshaughlin leading by 1-7 to 1-5.
The sides shared four points during the corner-back's absence. Dunshaughlin wasted numerical advantage, and hit seven wides to Seneschalstown's two in a 33-minute spell either side of the interval.
In the 53rd minute of a very close encounter with senior status at stake, Seneschalstown lost sub Bryan Clarke to a straight red card within moments of his introduction.
Seneschalstown were forced to line out without Cathal Hickey, but he crowned his late cameo with a 50th minute point that trimmed the deficit to the minimum.
Cathal Finnegan was Seneschalstown's top scorer with 1-5. His tally included two pointed frees in the latter stages that regained the lead for his side for the first time since the 18th minute.
Seneschalstown's night was crowned by a wonderful Brian Sheridan point from the left wing in the second minute of added time.

In terms of taking goal chances, Dunshaughin were far more wasteful. Wing-back Fursey Blake spurned one in the 14th minute
Matthew Moyles created points form Tadhg O Dushlaine and John McDonagh that restored Dunshaughlin's lead, 0-5 to 1-1, in the 19th minute.
A foot-block on Luke Mitchell led to a penalty which the same player expertly netted. Martin Reilly's side went on to lead by 1-6 to 1-3 at the break.
Points from Nicholson and Finnegan (free) cut the gap to the minimum by the 34th minute. Dunshaughlin reponded with three points on the bounce to move four ahead by the 42nd minute.
But, they were unable to seal the deal and now await either Ballinabrackey or Simonstown in a SFC relegation semi-final.
