Former Castletown footballer Shane Farrelly is the new manager of the Royal Gaels Ladies football team. The current Meath minor ladies manger replaces Gordon Weldon. 

Weldon guided Royals Gaels to the Meath Intermediate Football championship last year and with county stars Niamh Gallogly and Niamh O’Sullivan on board the Dunshaughlin based club will have an eye on senior honours this year.

Farrelly will be joined by former Meath stars Ger Doherty and Irena Munnelly. Alan Reilly, Dave McEntee, Brian Williams and Emmet O’Callaghan complete the impressive management team.
