Nobber convincingly claimed the Mattie McDonnell Cup and the IFC title with an emphatic win over Trim at Pairc Tailteann on Saturday afternoon.

Sean Carolan's men laid down the foundations in the first-half and eased to the finish line thereafter.
Jordan Morris took the scoring plaudits with 2-6, garnering two first-half goals with a trio of left-footed frees after the break.
Sean Meade's 48th minute solo goal when he cut in from the right to the old swimming pool end, made it 4-9 to 0-11 and the shadow of doubt about the outcome was extinguished.
A six-point interval advantage was turned into a 15-point winning margin by Nobber despite playing into the sun and breeze after the change of ends.
Joint-captain Brian Farrell brought his tally to 1-6, landing four right-footed frees after the break.
Midfielder Thomas Murtagh put in a tremendous hour's graft and movement while Paul Meade pushed forward whenever possible.
A third IFC title was crowned with vocal contributions from the three joint-captains with Brian Farrell capping it by paying well-judged respect to Trim as well to those the club lost during the year.
The sides shared 16 scores in the first-half but wind-assisted Nobber netted three times. The third, in the fourth minute of added time seemed point Nobber towards the podium.
Brendan Murphy's men rallied well from the concession of two opening quarter goals to get to within two points of Nobber by the second minute of stoppage time.
Nobber seemed stronger than Trim from the off and with Thomas Murtagh showing well were never headed though scores were tied twice in the opening seven minutes.
Then came Brian Farrell's goal with Jordan Morris and Fiachra McEntee assisting. A pointed Aaron Lynch 45, into the wind, was Trim's reply. The second Nobber goal came in the 14th minute with Jordan Morris finishing good work by Sean Meade and Brian Farrell.
Nobber moved five points clear, 2-4 to 0-5, by the 23rd minute when Sean Meade pointed. A well-composed James Toher point was the highlight of Trim's response.
Nobber stung again, in stoppage time, to lead by 3-5 to 0-8 at half -time.
Trim pulled back a point within 30 seconds of resumption but that was as good as it got for Brendan Murphy's men who were outscored by 1-11 to 0-5 in the second-half. Before the end they had Alan Douglas dismissed on receipt of his second yellow card.
Nobber last won this title in 2010 and this achievement was garnished with 20 scores with Niall Farrell also getting on the scoresheet.
