2013 Leinster minor and U21 draws made

October 11, 2012
The draws for next year's Leinster minor and U21 football and hurling championships have been made.

Dublin, who captured both the All-Ireland minor and U21 football titles this year, will begin the defence of their provincial championships against Louth and Carlow respectively. A losers' group section will once again provide a safety net for the first round losers in the minor football championship.

The Dublin minor hurlers will also have a provincial title to defend in 2013, but won't know who their opponents are until the Third II and Third III counties have played.

Meanwhile, reigning Leinster U21 hurling champions Kilkenny will meet the winners of the first round clash between Laois and Offaly in their opening assignment.
