Geraldines club notes

May 03, 2022

There was no senior fixture for our Senior Men this past week. They will be back in action on Saturday evening when they host St. Martins on Saturday evening in Division 1, throw in time TBC. The Junior men had a narrow loss to the Brides on Tuesday, final score was 2-12 to 0-13. They are out again on Tuesday evening and travel to Ardee St. Marys, with a 7 pm throw in.

There were 2 fixtures for our Ladies, with victories over Kilkerley on Friday night in the Adult B league and against DYI on Sunday morning in the Sunday League. The Ladies play at home on Friday night v St. Fechins, throw in @ 7.30 pm, followed by 2 Sunday morning home fixtures against the Dreadnots in the Winter Cup and the Cuchulainn Gaels in the Sunday League. Both matches throw in @ 11.30 am.

Congrats to all Gers players who represented their County over the weekend. All in the club are very proud of you.

Special mention goes to our U15 Girls Feile team who won the Louth Division 1 Competition on Saturday. The final was an epic battle against Cooley, which the Gers won in extra time. Well done girls and mentors.

There is lots of activity within our juvenile section so make sure to check out our social media pages for details of training and matches. You can keep up to date with all club activity on our social media platforms and on Clubzap.

The club will be opening its facilities on Saturday morning, 7th May, from 5–7am in support of Pieta House Darkness into Light. All are welcome.

Our Lotto stands at €6200.00; please check our social media for details of the ways in which you can take part.  We thank everyone who supports our club lotto; funds raised are essential to the running of our facilities for the entire parish to enjoy.
