Geraldines club notes

July 12, 2021

The Senior Men were beaten by the Blues in the League on Sunday, 3-16 to 1-10. Our Mens 3rd team were also in action during the week but lost to Annaghminnon Rovers by 1-17 to 2-09.

Our Senior Ladies had a tough victory over St Fechins in Round 5 of Division 1, putting on a stirring second half comeback to win by 1-08 to 1-07. Both of our Junior Ladies recorded wins against O’Raghallaighs/Oliver Plunketts and St. Fechins.

Gers Bears training recommenced on last Friday evening welcoming children from school age (born 2015/2016) into our club.  As a club we now have boys and girls training at all ages with fixtures and blitz’s taking place for many. We have very informative social media platforms and we would encourage all parents and supporters to sign up to ClubZap which contains details of all club news including all club fixtures.

Our Lotto is back and currently stands at €5200.00; please check our social media for details of the ways in which you can take part.  We thank everyone who supports our club lotto; funds raised are essential to the running of our facilities for the entire parish to enjoy. Remember that you got to be in it to win it!

We continue to ask everyone who visits our grounds to adhere to the strict protocol we have in place and to be compliant as we endeavour to keep you all safe.

The Geraldine’s Skills Camp will run from 09-11 Aug inclusive and is open to all from 7-18 years. Some newly added names to our Skills Camp line-up are Tyrone trio Niall Morgan, Liam Rafferty and Conor Meyler. The Skills Camp is a regular on the Gers calendar and extremely popular, so we urge everyone interested to book your spot ASAP to avoid disappointment.  Places can be booked via the club shop on Clubzap and early bookings will get an exclusive top as part of the fee.

Our club gear will soon be available through the DEFY club shop.
