Naomh Fionnbarra club notes & St Annes Camogie club notes

October 27, 2020

Naomh Fionnbarra & St. Anne's G.F.G. Lotto is now cancelled for next number of weeks owing to new Covid 19 restrictions.

Naomh Fionnbarra's last man competition for 2020's National League resumed last week.  24 contestants made it through to Round 7. For Round 7 as there were no League Finals this year contestants were asked to pick 2 teams to win. Both teams would have to win for a contestant to make it through. There were 12 different combinations picked in total between the 24 people remaining and a breakdown of the picks is as follows: Armagh and Kildare - 3,

Armagh and Monaghan - 2, Armagh and Roscommon - 3, Cavan and Monaghan - 1,

Clare and Kildare - 1, Kildare and Monaghan - 4, Kildare and Fermanagh - 1, Kildare and Mayo - 2, Laois and Mayo - 1, Laois and Monaghan - 2, Mayo and Monaghan - 3 & Monaghan and Roscommon - 1. After Round 7 there are only 6 contestants remaining. The competition now carries over to the Championship with details to follow for the remaining entrants this week. Best of luck to all still involved.  Thanks to everyone who entered for their support. Hopefully the return of championship football will keep the juices flowing. Stay safe, wear a mask and keep washing them hands.

Louth GAA Pick A House Draw - Following a hugely successful September, the Double House Draw committee have launched another '€5k Giveaway'. The 'Halloween Treat' is now live on Facebook.  Anyone who buys a ticket (or who has already bought a ticket) for the house draw by October 31st is entered into a draw for €5000 (there will be 5x€1000 winners this time).  As always tickets can be purchased online at www.pickahouse.ie or from all Louth GAA clubs.

Naomh Fionnbarra & St. Anne's G.F.G. fundraiser. Committee members have had 150ml hand sanitiser & refillable pens for sale for €5 each. Please support if you can.

Naomh Fionnbarra & St. Anne's G.F.G. club shop section is on the O'Neills website where club gear and merchandise can be purchased. A portion of the revenue generated will go back to the club.

The club would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Wendy Hand (née McGivney), late of Annagassan.  May she Rest In Peace.
