Longford's success in the Lory Meagher Cup has seen five of the team win awards.

The Lory Meagher All-Star Championship XV for 2014 was announced at the GAA/GPA All Star awards function held last Friday night.

The Midlanders won the fourth tier senior hurling championship for a second time when defeating Fermanagh in this year;s decider at Croke Park.

The five players honoured were Joe Brien (Clonguish), Martin Coyle (Wolfe Tones), Paddy Cullen (Wolfe Tones), Karl Murray (Longford Slashers) and Cathal Mullane (Killeedy, Co Limerick).
