John Kiely lamented the mistakes made by his much-changed Limerick side in their five-point loss to Clare.
Despite the defeat, the Treaty still progess to the Munster SHC final against Cork on Saturday, June 7 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
"Disappointed with the outcome today," the Limerick manager started off by saying.
"We went out to win every single game in the round-robin and that was no different today. I thought overall against the breeze (in the first half) our performance was solid. In the second half, we didn't come out of the blocks at all... lacked intensity, lacked energy and accuracy in what we were doing.
"We made too many mistakes and ultimately, across the 70 minutes, on analysis, it will be shown that we made quite an inordinate number of errors - missed pick-ups, dropped balls, missed balls, missed passes, unforced errors if you like.
"That's really the story of the game for us today. Too many unforced errors."
