Clough-Ballacolla continued their hurling dominance in Laois by capturing their third senior championship in-a-row at the expense of rivals Camross.

It finished 1-24 to 0-16 at O’Moore Park, where Willie Dunphy (1-5) netted the game’s only goal on 25 minutes to help pave the path for the holders’ victory.

That strike helped Clough-Ballacolla to go in at the break leading by 1-13 to 0-7 and through Dunphy and Stephen Maher the points continued to flow for the winners.

Points from Zane Keenan, Gearoid Burke, Tomas Keyes kept Camross with an outside chance but their opponents saw out the win which marks a sixth SHC success since 2009 for the club.
