Galway's Róisín Leonard is believed to be the first ladies footballer to score a '45 worth two points at inter-county level.
The historic kick came in last Sunday's Lidl National League win over Cork at Tuam Stadium. The rule was adopted by the LGFA in 2020 to reward players for their kicking techique and ability.
