Mick Bohan will remain in charge of Dublin ladies footballers for an eighth year after having his reappointment ratified yesterday evening.

Bohan had been a frontrunner to replace Anthony Cunningham as manager of Roscommon’s senior footballers after the latter’s departure this past summer, but is now set for another season over the capital women.

He was originally appointed as manager in 2016 and next year will mark a seventh consecutive year over Dublin ladies for him, having managed them in 2003.

The Clontarf man has led Dublin to four All-Ireland titles in-a-row during his tenure, along with four Leinster championship and two Leinster crowns.
