What a fantastic game the ladies final was, every ball a battle. To beat Cork and then Dublin, great champions, makes it as special as it had to be for Meath.

That was a remarkable performance from the Meath ladies,a real mix of superb football and a doggedness that couldn't be broken down, some confidence too as game management was excellent for a team in their first year senior against a team like Dublin.

It's that simple for Meath
What a #LGFA All Ireland Final. The Dublin ladies have been magnificent but met a team full of self belief and total doggedness today. Wonderful performance from the #Royals. Cracking game to watch. Mick Bohan a lesson in how to accept a loss. @dublinladiesg @MeathLadiesGAA
