Bennettsbridge have received a massive boost ahead of their All-Ireland club IHC semi-final against Wolfe Tones of Clare next month.

Robert Lennon, who captained the 'Bridge to All-Ireland club JHC glory last February and was a member of Kilkenny's Liam MacCarthy Cup winning panel in September, has been cleared to play after the red card he picked up in the Leinster final win over Kiltale of Meath was rescinded.

Lennon was set to miss the January 23 semi-final against Wolfe Tones in Cashel after he hauled down a Kiltale player who was through on goal late in the game. But his successful appeal means he will be available to face the Shannon men.
