Wexford will meet Waterford and Kilkenny will take on Cork in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 semi-finals next weekend.

The make-up of the last four was confirmed today, with all six fifth round matches taking place at the same time, while Offaly and Antrim contest the relegation final.

Rory O'Connor helped himself to 1-12 as Darragh Egan's Wexford completed the group stage with a 100% record when ousting Cork by 1-22 to 1-17.

The previously-unbeaten Rebels travelled to Chadwicks Wexford Park in search of their first victory there since 2006 but were always chasing the game, having trailed 1-13 to 0-8 at the halfway stage.

Galway did just enough to hold on for a 0-25 to 1-10 victory over Clare at Pearse Stadium, with a Tony Kelly penalty eight minutes after the restart keeping the Banner men in touch until the final whistle.

In the other group A contest, All-Ireland champions Limerick gained their first win of the campaign following an emphatic 4-29 to 0-17 defeat of Offaly at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Leading by 1-16 to 0-10 at the break, debutant Oisin O’Reilly, Cian Lynch, Barry Nash and substitute Pat Ryan crashed home the goals for the winners'.

Kilkenny finished as group B winners after goals in either half from Cillian Buckley and Billy Ryan were decisive in their 2-21 to 0-21 win against Waterford at UPMC Nowlan Park.

In what was a warm up for their Leinster SHC opener at the same venue in four weeks' time, Dublin defeated Laois 2-31 to 1-24 at Parnell Park.

Finally, Tipperary showed no mercy for Antrim as they crushed the Saffrons on a 7-28 to 1-17 scoreline.

Man-of-the-match Mark Kehoe and John McGrath bagged 2-3 each in a 29-point route at FBD Semple Stadium.
