Colin Fennelly has been named the Kilkenny captain for 2020.

The Ballyhale Shamrocks clubman will follow in the footsteps of his brother Michael who captained the Cats to the 2009 All-Ireland SHC title.

Fennelly has yet to feature for Kilkenny in this year’s league, having been given an extended break along with his club mates, but he is set to feature in their HL quarterfinal.

The talented forward has been a part of the Kilkenny squad since 2011, and the 30-year has cemented his place at full forward over the last few years.
