Kildare GAA has welcomed the Government's decision to lift localised restrictions in the county with immediate effect.
Following a recommendation from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET), the strict restrictions have been lifted in Kildare.
"Great news - the Kildare localised lockdown is finally over," Kildare GAA tweeted this afternoon.
"We look forward to seeing our clubs teams back in action over the coming days.
"Fixtures to follow."

A two week lockdown was first introduced for Kildare, Laois and Offaly on 7 August after an increase in Covid-19 cases in the region.
Despite Laois and Offaly coming out of lockdown on 21 August, restrictions were extended in Kildare for a further two weeks but they have now been relaxed.
