Tralee Parnell Hurling Club has been reformed after 88 years
Tralee Parnell Hurling Club has been reformed after 88 years, the old Tralee Parnell's Clubs won Senior Hurling Championships titles in 1918, 1919 and 1924, players at the time included John Joe Sheehy and Jack McCarthy. The current club will first field an under 14 team and will compete in various competitions over the next few months. The clubs is based in Caherslee and training is held for 13 and 14 year olds on Fridays at 7pm. There are 7 clubs involved with Tralee Parnell's, Austin Stacks, John Mitchel's, Na Gaeil, Kerins o Rahillys, Ballymac, Churchill and St Pats Blenerville. Tralee Parnell's will work with the clubs to help promote hurling in the town and to develop the club itself to eventually compete at all age groups. We are currently recruiting Under 13 and Under 14 player as well as Club Volunteers.
