St Thomas showed no mercy to Portumna in last night’s one-sided Galway SHC clash in Loughrea.
It finished 4-38 to 0-15 in favour of the defending champions as they racked up enough scores to almost keep up with the clock at St Brendan's Park.
The Saints had led by 2-23 to 0-13 at the break, before reducing their opponent to just two points in the second-half as they went on to round off a 35-point victory.
Clarinbridge saw off Turloughmore by 0-23 to 0-17 in the night’s other SHC clash, while at Duggan Park it finished 3-15 to 1-18 in favour of Ahascragh/Fohenagh over Mullagh to secure promotion for Ahascragh to Senior A in 2021.
