Salthill-Knocknacarra celebrate after winning the Galway SFC at Pearse Stadium
Selector Gordon Morley insists Salthill/Knocknacarra haven't been close to their best this year.

Speaking to the Connacht Tribune ahead of Sunday's Frank Fox Cup decider against challengers Corofin, the Castlerea native noted: "We have been improving slightly from game to game, but we don't feel we have reached anything that we can do in terms of our potential.

"That said, the positive thing is we are eking out the results and while we haven't played to our potential so far this year, the lads are really working hard. I just hope they can give a performance on the day that the work they have put in deserves. If they do, we will see where it takes us.

"However, we will have to play a couple of notches above anything we have produced this year so far in terms of our championship games. The positive is that we have shown the fighting spirit, but that is what I would expect of these guys.

"Realistically, though, they will have to perform at a level that they haven't so far and that is the challenge there for them. They know anything less than that is not going to be good enough against a team like Corofin."
