Tomsmith here
I make no bones about it in declaring my love for Cavan Town and for its fine footballers. But I do say that Cavan Town is the ideal place for Ulster Finals, Never mind Clones or Casement Park Breffno ( Old name ) is the place for Ulster Finals. It has everything going for it No 1 Steeped in History with Cavan Slashers and now Cavan Gaels the big Town team No 2 Odious amount of Parking spaces right beside the Park No 3 The local residents are so accommodating, no signs out no parking here or Chairs out in front of Houses. No4 The Road network into and out of Cavan is fantastic. No 5 Very suitable Gaa Pubs , Hotels and eating houses locally. . It all adds up that Cavan Town is prime spot going forward for ULster finals
Anyone else share my views ??

Well Fools Gold I say Cavan for future Ulster Finals and I dont know why you offer an excuse about Location when you have people trying to get Ulster Finals for Casement Park sure it will only suit Antrim people are not likely to be in Ulster Final for a long number of years . Then again Casement may be a cross Community project where both traditions would come together and you may see the Young Shankill Road Defenders Flute Band. leading both teams round before the Game , and then giving a rendering of Irelands Call

Anyone else share my views ??" I doubt any would share you view, as most of it is made up nonsense. A fine Stadium is Kingspan but there is only one true home for Ulster Finals. That is the opinion of most Ulster GAA fans. Also when we think of great and historical Cavan teams, the clubs that come to mind are Mullahorn, Cornafean, Crosserlough and Kingscourt. Clubs that could compete with the best in surrounding counties. Gaels we would consider a mix of blow-ins and buy-ins with a weak underbelly when it comes to heading north.

Don't engage with this poster. It's a troll account that tries to ridicule Cavan gaa. The poster in question is aligned to Butlersbridge, rather than Cavan Gaels, and is in fact a Monaghan man. He appears on your forum as one of the most prolific monaghan posters, V..g.a.

You caught a big one there Tom fair play. Years and Years with the same playbook and people still unwittingly volunteer for the trap

Defamation at its best. Your little mind is starting to wonder and create narratives and stories in your head. Imagine spending your time assuming I am someone else and one man operates many different accounts. Like I said before, you give the people of Cavan a bad name in your wandering, rambling posts.

The truth hurts lad. The cap fits,so wear it. When it comes to bad names, there are none better than yourself to give a county a bad name.
