Replying To Royalblufill:  "Amazing really - Kilbride really is a Dublin border club! There has been some developments in the town recently but there is plenty more land around there and the proximity to Dublin and Ballycoolin would make it an attractive place to live! They could be the next team to really benefit from population growth"
Yeah you'd think Kilbride is prime location for a population surge given its location, and the fact the GAA clubs is centre to the community.

But you'd have said the same about Clonee and while it has had the population increase, the people moving there didn't get involved in GAA. Now I know the whole St Paul's moving to the far side of Dunboyne didn't help, but population doesn't guarantee participation. The Navan clubs are feeling that right now.

Ratoath for its size seem to be run shockingly poor. They just keep getting this half celebrity managers, throwing money at them hoping it'll somehow work. And they leave a year later. What a complete mess.

Yea, 3 Senior Championships in 7 years, and 5 final appearances in the same time, a complete mess altogether

You are right there. They have far more talented players than any other 2 clubs in meath. They drop good players . Pick some passengers, and have lost 3 keegan cups in a row on the line. Bad decisions every year implies consistency. And that these managers are instructed by the same people. This year they wanted to win with their own and left the match winning Wallace on the line.

We can only wish to be run as well as NOM recently or St. Colmcilles or Donaghmore/Ashbourne who would be bigger. We can only compete at the highest level in Meath in both football and hurling, winning 5 senior titles out of 10 finals over both codes since 2019. Truly terrible.

Speaking of which - Ciaran must be a man who will manage Ratoath in the future!

Na Fianna has secured Alan Brogan as a selector alongside John Baldwin as manager. Brilliant appointment from Na Fianna. Fair play!

Great appointment by the Rasherstown/Enfield Celtic based club. Will be a massive help to aid with their hopes of winning a relegation final in October 2026. After loosing some key players to travel, they'll hope to get the better of the Colm O'Rourke managed Simonstown side, or the BigE Reilly coached St. Colmcille side. Another appointment i heard in recent weeks was that Trim manager Ken Robinson has acquired 'the wolf' Paddy Andrews who is fond of a podcast in as a video analyst man!
