Brian Armitage was elected as the new Fermanagh GAA chairman at last night's county convention.
The Lisnaskea Emmetts clubman was the only nominee for the post which Greg Kelly vacated under the five-year rule. A vastly experienced GAA administrator, Armitage moves from the post of assistant secretary where he is replaced by outgoing vice-chairman Phil Flanagan.
Flanagan is succeeded by Derrygonnelly's John McGovern as vice-chairman after completing his five-year term in the role.
