New senior hurling manager for Lucan

Lucan Sarsfields is delighted to announce the appointment of Damien Fox as the new senior hurling manager. Damien has a track record both as a player and as a manger having played with his native Tullamore for more than three decades. Damien also brings huge experience as coach and manager to Lucan. His involvement in management goes back to 1997 when he managed Longford Minors, since then he has coached and managed at the highest level including managing Laois to Div 2 champions in 2007. Apart from the Laois job Damien has managed Clonaslee Gaels (County Semi finalists 1999) Tinnahinch (County finalists 2001 -2002 ), Portlaoise (county champions 2004) Castletown Geogan (County semi finalists 2009) and Offaly Minor coach in 2010.
We look forward to Damien taking up the reins in the new year and wish to thank Sean McCaffrey and his team for the hard work that they have put in to the team over the past 5 years.
