Castleknock
Congrats to Jack Quinn from our Under 12 panel who won the World Irish Dancing Title in Glasgow at the weekend. This is just weeks after Jack won the All Ireland Title in Killarney. Best wishes to all who are participating in our Easter Camp this week.
Spring Ball date is 7th May in the Castleknock Hotel, tickets will go on sale shortly.
Many thanks to Keith O'Brien and his fiddle for representing the club in a cross border cultural night in Carrickfergus. Also thanks to Brendan Phelan for coaching 40 visiting Danish students how to play hurling.

Our Annual Feile Race Night, in aid of our Camogie, Football & Hurling Feile Teams, will take place this Thursday 1st April (Holy Thursday) in the Clubhouse >from 8:30pm.

Best of luck to Se√°n McGuinness & the Dublin Under 21 Footballers in their Leinster Final against Westmeath in Parnell Park this Sunday 4th.
Congratulations to our Scór Sinsear Instrumental Group of Siobhán Ní Mhaolagin (Fiddle), Flor Ryan (Banjo), Eimear Ní Bhradin (Concertina), Padraig Mulligan (Flute & Whistle) & Darragh McMenemin (Bodhrán) who did the Club proud at the Leinster Finals last Sunday 28th March.
Unfortunately they weren't declared winners on the night, however both Scór teams will now perform on the Club's "Céilí House" Special.
Míle buíochas to everyone who helped raise Eu1,640 from our Daffodil Day Table Quiz in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
A special word of thanks must go to Tommy O'Friel, Pat Brennan & everyone involved in the organisation the event.
As part of the Club's 50th Anniversary Celebrations all members are invited to attend a special recording of the famous RTE Radio Program "Céilí House" in the Clubhouse on Monday 19th April @ 7:30pm.
Also as part of the Club's 50th Anniversary Celebrations the Opening of the Clubhouse Museum will take place in the Clubhouse on Wednesday 21st April at 8:00pm.
We are looking to collect any old Jerseys, Medals or Cups to put on display in the Clubhouse Museum.

The Adult teams recorded three impressive wins over the weekend in a super display of skilled and battling hurling and football. The Senior footballers recorded a fine win over neighbours St Vincent s; the Junior Bs beat Peregrines and the Minor hurlers  the club s team of the week  made it three in a row, enjoying a brilliant win away to Parnells. Pix of the teams are winging their way to the club website. Come out and support the Senior Ladies, who play Na Fianna at 7.30 tomorrow on Pitch 34. Suppport is also welcome for the U16 Championship game tonight at 7.30 on Pitch 35. Club Easter camp takes place from Tues April 6th ñ Fri April 9th from 10am ñ 2pm. Contact John Ryan (0879047300) to book. Special club night will take place on Wed April 21 in Crowne Plaza Hotel Blanchardstown Centre. The club is developing a strategy for the coming years to get our Juvenile section back blossoming. Among the guest speakers on the night are Billy Morgan (Nemo Rangers), Paul McGettigan (Corofin), Padraig McDonald (Kilmacud Crokes) & John McEntee (Crossmaglen Rangers). Inter Hurlers face Fingallians this Wed at 8.15 in Russell Pk. Senior 2 footballers face Round Towers at 9.15 on Thurs in Russell Pk. Special thanks to Tesco for allowing our U14 Feile team bag pack at the weekend. Hard luck to Eoin Kennedy who lost out to Paul Brady in the 40*20 Semi-Finals. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Mullally & Kelly family on their recent loss. Club Lotto takes place in The Vineyard this Thursday with a Jackpot of E15000.

Castleknock GAA World Champion! Congrats to Castleknock Under 12 Hurler & Footballer Jack Quinn on winning the World Irish Dancing Title in Glasgow. Its a great achievement and well done to the Quinn Family and the O'Shea School of Irish Dancing.

Saturday Nights awards night was a great event in the club and a big thank you to all those that help make it a success. Our Hurlers defeated Glenealy in the club's first ever game in the Leinster club hurling league.   National Indoors Athletics in Nenagh, Co Tipperary: Sarah Murray took gold in the 60M in a time of 7.83. Sarah McCarthy won the long jump with 5.74 Metres ( championship record ). Bronwyn Keogh took another gold at U15 level. Erin Go Bragh
We will host a Community Festival between 4th and 9th May to coincide with the opening of our Clubhouse on Sunday May 9th.  As part of this we will host a Football Street League for age groups from 6 years old to adult.  Non members are very welcome.  Registration will take play on Saturday 24th April between 10-2pm in the Erin go Bragh Clubhouse (beside Mary Mother of Hope National School).  Contact Tony Evans @ 086-3929278 for further information. Well done to the U8's who played very well against Lusk, our U11's who came out on top against St Pat's along with the junior footballers who are continuing to impress this year.  Our Under 9 team is looking for new players born in 2001, the team play both Hurling & Football matches on Saturday morning. O'Dwyers weekly skills camp has moved back to the Club Grounds at Bremore Park from 11am - 12:30pm. 2e a week.
