is it true that dunboyne defeated ashbourne last night in the league final or is this just more hype coming from the dunboyne camp ?

That was only summer shield semi final. Dun/Ash had full team tho, dunboyne without Harper, Markey and Lavin

Yes Ashbourne won by a point in extra time, scored the winner with the last kick of the game. Great game of football, proves that there is nothing between the two teams and all to play for come Championship!

great game with both teams realy going at it pity to have a looser buts thats sport, the ref had some critics from both sides but allowed the game flow and used common sense under difficult conditions, credit to st marys , donore pitch in excellent condition
dunboyne looked the better team in the first 20 minutes but don/ash worked their socks off to keep in touch in particular sean byrne who was outstanding, philip darcey dunboyne and michael deegan don/ash had their personal battle with score taking, both lads brilliant
final score 2.15 to 2.14 aft to don/ash, roll on the championship
