Its a turning into a bit of farce with whats going on in Ballivor.
Senior club 10 years ago to Intermediate to Junior, won Leinster Title Junior back up Intermediate.
I really thought after they won Leinster Junior the clubs involved would have sorted there differences.
Between Ballivor, Killyon and Kildalkey its a huge catchment area and they should have no problems fielding teams.

It will never be sorted. Ballivor should have stood their ground a couple of years ago when kildalkey lads came back crying
after their own football experiment didnt work. Instead they just looked at the short term gain which doesnt yield long term results
now their back to square one.

Had Ballivor stayed on their own it might have taken them a couple of years to win the junior but at least they wouldnt have any
problems with fielding teams.

Your probably right Foley91 but theres some nice footballers there with Adam Gannon and young Mckeown, if they stay up intermediate could have a nice little team there in a few years.

Theroyals: Sure every team could say that.. You can only play with what you've got and play against what your put up in front of you!! Just have to get on with it!!

Does anyone know if Ballivor have 100% withdrawn from the championship? A lot of rumours flying around and was just wondering if its true!! If so will the group proceed like they never existed and the score difference amended to deduct Ballinloughs and Ratoaths winning margins? Otherwise if a number of teams finish level will we be looking at playoffs due to teams all having beaten each other so head to head is out and score difference cannot be used if Castletown and Ballinabracky simply get the walkover points??

I know there was a emergency meeting with players and officials at the weekend but they all agreed to pull together and kick on,i believe the problem is with some of the kildalkey players !

its a shame they pulled out this is going to create a back log of fixture if teams finish level on points and is also not fair for ratoath and ballinough who have already beaten them. very sad to see any team pulling out of championship in my tender 55 years ive never seen this happen apart from rathkenny in the mid 80s but that was completely different circumstances

Well would you please leave BALLIVOR alone,as the only problem is you lot that have nothing better to do with your time. BALLIVOR ARE ARE NOT PULLING OUT OF ANYTHING AND WE ARE NOT A FARCE.so find some other club to bitch about.

Fully agree old lady Its hard enough to keep a club going nowadays without some clowns posting up stupid statements at random that they cant back up, Lay off ballivor lads Im sure theyll bounce back.

I agree with the madser byrne. It is a joke Ballivor have gone like this. Tried to get other teams to join them as they put nothing into underage and ultimately when Kildalkey want out they cannot survive without. It is actually very like Rathkenny in that they would have no team without Slane. Slanes demise is down to all the Slane players with Rathkenny

Chatting to Ballivor man this morning. He said County Board brought in rule that that if you play underage with Ballivor you have to Hurl with Kildalkey, this just applies to young lads from Ballivor,so Killyon boys will not play because they getting raw deal.
The Kildalkey boys would know alot about football seeing as they had such a great football team there few years ago, Oh wait sorry.
If its true about County Board brought in this rule its making a bad situation even worse.
Boys playing underage should be allowed play with whichever Hurling club they want.
So it is a bit of a farce.

Very hard to understand whets going on here. If its true there is now rule like previously stated where the underage players must play with Kildalkey in hurling this seems very harsh on killyon.

Kildalkey players seem to have already deserted Ballivor and have already failed with trying to start football which previously led to Ballivor getting relegated and Kildalkey football team disbanding. Kildalkey players then rejoin Ballivor and Ballivor easily win the junior Championship. There is talk then of Ballivor then not being able to field teams.

As an outsider looking in it's very hard to understand what the kildalkey club want. It would also appear that Ballivor have now knifed Killyon in the back even though they stayed loyal to Ballivor when Kildalkey player deserted them
