Flyer,

To be fair i think royaldunne is right, it was Tobin in the first half, but i think Keoghan picked him in the second..
either way well done to every man 1-15, subs used and usused, management team....
the took their lumps after the league and the carlow match but have gotten on with the football...
we went in under the radar, no one even our own pundits gave us a chance...and if its the dubs the next day we'll hear the same but lets let the football do the talking again...keep working hard and putting the belief and spirirt back into Meath football

Royaldunne, after all the slagging between mesefelf and yourselfe, Fair play to you; Meath did it today and fully deserved it. Nonetheless, I remained a Lille and fully committed. But well done, you showed real tradition and and we were caught,

well done to meath put in a very workmanlike display.. In saying that a couple of key decisions went with them, thought Darryl Flynn was harshly sent off, Graham Reilly committed three of four fouls after he was booked, that were on par with Flynns fouls and still stayed on.. Also Peadar Byrne's goal, it should never have been a throw-up in first place, as Forde took too many steps and should have been a free out.. All said though Meath performed better on the day, and will put it up to the Dubs in the Leinster Final.. Best of luck..

Fair play Meath!! Didn't see that coming, was in the Hyde for Ros- Armagh, and the biggest gasps from the crowd came each time the scores from yer game was called out. At least we got the 2nd biggest shock of the day!!

Great to be able to give the team a standing ovation coming off a Croke Park pitch.

Youngsters like Gillespie, Keoghan, Tobin, Forde and Carroll certainly did the business. Some fine scores by Graham Reilly, Joe Sheridan and Brian Farrell when we really needed them. Nice to see Joe slot over a 45 again. Of course it was Peadar's goal than gave us the belief we could win, the late points from Stephen Bray and Jamie Queeney were both the insurance and icing on the cake.

Absolutely delighted with that performance today, even more impressed by the fact it was the young guns who done the business, Keoghan, Tobin, Menton, Gillespie, Carroll and Forde all playing well!

Well done Meath.. We were poor and let you boss us around in the 2nd half. Better team won by far. Ref was poor for both sides... You can look forward to the Dubs with some confidence as they didn't look like All Ireland Champions today...

Great performance by the royals today. Talk about rolling back the years, I thought I was sitting in the old armchair and it was 1987. Monaghan and Meath played a full on challenge game in Clones about 6 weeks ago and you wouldnt think both teams were heading down to Div 3 next year. Well done and keep her going.

Fair play to the Kildare lads (both here and on the National site) who had (or will have) the guts to post congratulations. I'm sure there will be plenty more who have run their mouths off over the last two weeks or so who won't be surfacing for a while.

Lets just say after last year Brian Farrells red, Geraghty's square ball, Kenny being taken out of the game in Navan I think we deserved a bit of luck today.

Just getting in from the match and wanted to get on here and congratulate Meath on a fine comprehensive win over the Lillies. Meath played by far the more direct game and took all their scores very well. We weren't at the races today. Anyway best of luck in the final against the Dubs.
