I'll be honest and say I have not heard of McNamara? What age is he and his position?

Daragh is 22 or 23.
His best position would be anywhere along the half forward line I would say. He is very quick and is similar to Biggy Reilly in the way he runs at defenders.
He was playing with Drogheda United two years ago aswell.

He never went unnoticed, he was playing soccer with Drogheda for the last number of years, I have seen him play on numerous occasions and he is an athlete and a good team player. Do you not agree Joeshow?

I'd get a ticket if you are going for sure. They are selling them (even advertising the game) at the sweet counter of Bird's Supervalu Beechmount (Trim Rd, Navan). Make sure you buy a ticket for the right game! I'm just back from there ... my best supermarket shop ever ... GAA tickets, McCloskey's hot cross buns and some cranberry juice to wash them down.

Mc Namara was on the minors a few years back but left after the Leinster final as he was on a professional contract with Drogheda at the time. He has always played with Drumbaragh and scored freely and has decided to concentrate on GAA this year so far scoring something in the region of 5-20 from play in Drumbaraghs first 5 championship/league games. He's also played for the Meath Juniors twice in the last week and scored 0-5 and 1-2 from play so its safe to say he's a good scoring forward. Very quick and very accurate with both feet, good to see him getting a chance now that he's concentrating on Gaelic.

Fair play that is a good history of the payer for people who haven seen much of him, my prediction is if he gets a few games he will be a permanent fixture.
