I see you could have thrown a blanket over Ballinlough, Trim, Gaeil Colmcille and St. Colmcilles who all finished their Div 2. campaigns with virtually nothing to choose between them ... How on earth can Longwood even be in with a shout of qualifying from that Intermediate Group given that they are bouncing around in Div 4 ???

Good leaguer results means nothing come championship. Look at Div 2, BOTH bottom teams are progressing along nicely despite winning only 1 game! A lot of teams arent getting their players out for league matches.

St Colmcille's V Ballinlough - Ballinlough seem to be on a roll so they should win this
Trim V Longwood - Tight but Trim might sneak this one
Ballivor V Castletown - Do or die for both, Castletown to shade it
St Ultan's V Ballinabrackey - Another tight one but The Bracks should have just enough
Clann na nGael V Na Fianna - Enfield to pull through
St Michael's V Syddan - St Michaels to win

Cills v Ballinlough. Colmcilles promise so much but no under belly. Some day they will win something but Ballinlough motor on here
Trim v Longwood. Dont think Longwood are great but they have got good results Trim are defo not great but could win here
Ballivor v Castletown. Back against the Green and Gold at your peril. Div 1 v Div 3 Castletown to win and whoever beats them (if anyone) will be Senior in 2013
Ultans v Bracks. This is a no brainer..brackey will win. and make the Final Ballinabrackey for Senior think about I must be mad but it could happen
Clan v Na Fianna. Na Fianna but not by much. Na Fianna 3rd favourites for Inter crown 2012 if they make the Final they will have a great chance
Micks v Syddan Should be bit of a laugh Syddan in Pairc Tailteann twice in a week Micks not great Syddan worse draw on the cards.

Ive been right on 3 predictions so far anyway, Trim, Ballinlough and Castletown winning. Havoc Ballinabrackey hammered Castletown in the first round so The Bracks might as well be handed the cup if Castletown are as mighty as you say

ST.Colimcilles were very poor last night especially biggie reilly! So much for our county star! and Peader Byrne was brilliant!

looking at the games and results this weekend the real contenders are na fianna , ballinalough and ballinabrackey......cannot see any other teams getting close to these 3 teams

Serious wins for all 3 of them alright and id be fairly confident that one of them will lift the cup. Only other threat could be Trim

All teams left in this grade are in with a decent shout in my opinion. Castletown cannot be discarded from this group, either can trim or Saint Michaels. Very open this year again, with any one from the possible quarter final pairings given a real chance. Saint Michaels tipping along nicely also, recording conprehensive wins in all group games and getting a few players back in. Trim are a senior club just relegated, they will have their say also, no push over certainly.

I telling ye dont rule out Cstletown whoever beats them will win it. Crawley remember April is long gone so dont read into that result. Its between them and Na Fianna. Na Fianna always seem to promise and then fail. Maybe like Mayo they have change of mindset.

123anmhi "looking at the games and results this weekend the real contenders are na fianna , ballinalough and ballinabrackey"

While all three teams were impressive, results wise, you have to take into consideration that the three teams they were playing had nothing to play for and were already out of contention to qualify for the knockout stages.

They are definitely three of maybe 5 teams that are capable of winning it (Trim & Castletown the others)

It's very open in my opinion with only St.Michael's for me falling short on ability to win it out

Any idea who plays who in quarter finals and what side of the draw the semi finalists will be on?

Not to worry St Colmcilles the Laytown Races is coming up and Morans is not closing down so all involved will be very happy for another year

Foley 91 - Yes they are 99% gone. Trim would need to beat Ballinlough by a cricket score for them to qualify
