Big Shock with St Michaels beating Dunderry last night, any news from the game? Did Regan or Fay play?

Both Subs with Fay getting on in the first half and Regan getting on in the second.Fay had a good goal chance and if he had scored, Dunderry would have won..They were on top at that stage but saying that Micheals had a great opportunity to get a second goal late on.. Dunderry going nowhere this year but neither are Micheals

No I believe Trim and Kells drew 1-8 to 11, would have expected Kells to win though.

Yeah just seen that there..I was miss informed. I would have expected Kells to win aswell.

Ballinlough and Longwood finished all square aswell 1-8 a piece. Newcomers Ballivor beat Carnaross well 1-9 to 0-4.

i was at the Carnaross game last night and as a neutral i taught Carnaross looked a very unfit and a badly trained team

Oh don't worry, I'm a Cilles man! It just mightn't do any harm if we are underdogs. I am just sharing my honest view!

The Cills will win nothing until they sit down and look into the reasons as to why they have been so unsuccessful down through the years a bit like the County teams since the turn of the century. They have a massive catchment area but cannot get things to gel reasons please experts

It takes a good team to win ANY championship. And from previous experience, any team can have a good shot if they want it bad enough.. The players I mean. But it does have to be a 100% commitment and self belief. Look at the junior and intermediate teams who won and got to finals over last few years, some of them people would have said not a hope of winning. Rathkenny, Moynalvey, Nobber, Ballivor are all a testament to this.

The cilles haven't really done anything underage apart from one team over the last few years, although there are a few good teams coming through now. And half the catchment area are dubs, most of them either play with their dublin clubs, stopped playing altogether or are not into GAA.
