The Lutch, if they are so poor how can they make the last 4 of the championship and be in Div 1 of the league? You know a lot clearly iamurdad (Meath) - Posts: 93 - 29/10/2012 11:35:01 1289531 Link 0 |

Have to agree, Castletown are very poor. Probably the worst team to get to the semi's in years. Shows the standard of Meath football when they're in Div 1, you only have to look at yesterday's Senior final-terrible!! Jubilee.Express (Meath) - Posts: 32 - 29/10/2012 11:55:51 1289540 Link 0 |

Dont be worrying how good or bad the Brave lads from Castletown where, dont matter a hoot who beat them in April.................... what I said ( and remember how great I am at picking winners) was the team that beats them will win it and do you know what and its no surprise to me I WAS RIGHT. glenny (Meath) - Posts: 1119 - 29/10/2012 12:35:49 1289559 Link 0 |

Castletown are in division 1 because they have no county players and have their full panel for league games,na fianna and ballinabrackey are division 3 but have alot of players involved at senior and junior level in the county.League form goes out the window in championship as everyone knows young glenny, castletown could not kick it out to either team in the championship when i watched them, one very good player,no.12 but very standard after that.the league is only a stepping stone and preparation for the championship,if you want proof look at kildare and meath in the championship this year !! kildare up to division 1 and meath down to division 3 but meath win the championship game easily ! thelutch (Meath) - Posts: 1146 - 29/10/2012 12:58:15 1289565 Link 0 |

For the love of god stop arguing over a team that lost the semi final. Na Fianna are intermediate champions and deservedly so. I reckon they'll have a serious chance in leinster as well, they should have too much for CFCW this weekend although a week on the beer might mean they'll struggle Crawley_JuniorD (Meath) - Posts: 211 - 29/10/2012 14:32:26 1289607 Link 0 |

So the year has come to an trilling end. Who would have thought Na Fianna would lifted the trophy back at the start of march? Trim did there mighty best to get some sort of result on the final day. If there hadn't been a 6/8 week break god knows where ballivor would have ended up as they got off to a great start but in the last group game couldn't field a team against the bracks. castletown got off to the worst possibly start but yet found a way into the semi final WHAT A YEAR OF TWIST AND TURNS!!! royalsdelaney (Meath) - Posts: 93 - 02/11/2012 19:54:53 1291841 Link 0 |

Na Fianna were always going to win this encounter against Castletown-Finea-Coole-Whitehall, stayed in control throughout the game and winning the game by 3 points. 1-13 to 1-7 royalsdelaney (Meath) - Posts: 93 - 05/11/2012 17:52:40 1293041 Link 0 |
