the only teams in this year championship that i feel will make a stong and serious push for the championship is kells, ballinalough ,ballinabrackey, na fianna and maybe ballivour depending on what the leinster took out of them

Carnaross could be the dark horses, I have heard that training is going very well and they are getting big turnouts... John L Magee has been the top scorer in the IFC for the last 6 or 7 years in a row and if they could get another big year out of him they will be in with a chance. They had a good win in the U-21's last year and they need to try and put some of that youth into their first team because they were too dependant on the old brigade for the last couple of years.

Mno team getting relegates from this froup i think this year. Carnaross will be strong, kells, Ballinlough, Na Fianna. Not many teams in this grade are fit for senior at present if were being honest

swansong whats your problem with c-ross!they have not stopped punching above their weight for last twenty years and dont expect them to stop for the next twenty actually expect them to improve with the constant promotion and development of the grounds and games,the smallest parish in meath one school and players constantly been taken by other local teams at under age and they never complain,maybe swansong you should be having a go at other small clubs,and tell them to follow the c-ross model

you need a team that are prepared to give it all and i think the only teams that are capable of doing that are kells, na fianna, and ballinabrackey

think it will be tough this year, group A very difficult to call, couple of the favourites will miss out on qualification. group B, I really fancy Athboy this year with their county men playing well. St Michaels lost most their team I think and are no longer the threat they were. Group C, there for Carnaross providing they keep their players fit

Iv nothing against c/Ross I just said they hadn't the head for a final and their last two trips to an IFC final prove that . Nobber handed them a 17 point beating and NOM beat them by 20 points . Didn't get score more than 7 points in either game !

Castletown got a great draw if they can't finish in the top 2 of that group there's somethin serious wrong .

In fairness to them, they were quite an ageing team v Nobber and imo hadnt got the best people on the line either when it came to tactical nous.
They have a much younger profile now and some good young players throughout the team and a managment team which will make sure they wont lie down for anyone. They should be very hard to beat at the very least.
