1258474 What about the semi finals? My prediction is

Kingscourt v Castlerahen - Should be a good game both side have forwards who can score a lot, i reckon Kingscourt are the overall better team and will win by 4 points

Mullahourn v Killygarry - Killygarry will be full of confidence after beating the Gaels and there is no reason they cant go on and win this match too but i think Mullahourn will come out on top in the game there playing good stuff at the minute and wont underestimate Killygarry which is what the Gaels might have done, it will be close like it was when they met earlier in the championship but Mullahourn will win b 2 points

If Mullahorn perform as they did yesterday I would not write off Killygarry. Not sure about Castlerahan or Kingscourt my prediction a draw so a replay on the cards.

but who'd win the replay?

Killygarry were three down and picked up 2/3 frees to get nose in front
.............................
this i dont understand! 3 down, scored 2 or 3 points and then were ahead?!

Its also possible to score from open play. A bit like a drop-goal in rugby if thats a sport you are more familiar with.
..........................................
you didn't mention them scoring from play

I didn,t mention what colour the grass was either i just assumed that the reader could work it out.

Have to admit did nt pay much attention to The champ once we were out.

Cavan Gaels last 12 finals some acheivement. Will they sorry bout Ulster they have to be.

Biggest dissapointment Cuchulainns Ramor & Ballinagh- have never even reached a final teams with such promise teams that looked like a good champ team..

Castlerahan it was enevitable they ll come through with the underage success & pace they have. If mackey stands up they ll win.

Kingscourt maybe they re comming good @ right time but they have flaws

Mullahorn very hard stoped @ this stage but they cannot handle pace for the hour

Killygarry they ve made i think it was 4/5 out of the last 7 semis so you can t say they re a suprise. As neighbours i know they truely love their club & football in general. Hugely dissaponted in them they joined Gaels @ minor this year. But forgiven after last sunday

But @ the moment i think its Castlerahan!

As I did not see the Kingscourt/Drumgoon match I can only make my prediction on Kingscourts last match in Breffni and Castlerahans both were poor but my call will be Kingscourt and to win the senior title as well

SeanoRinn,
I would not be too sure about a draw. I would like to see who the umpires and Referee is before I give it a call.

Kingscourt are clearly the best team left.
Mullahoran are the only other team capable of winning it.

The standard of football is atrocious. It'll be a long time before any manager can make a decent county panel out of what's available.

The standard is poor alright, but you can't really extrapolate from that. I've been to several Donegal championship games in the last few years, standard is shocking.

I think it's safe to say we've no individual players like Murphy or Karl Lacey knocking around. And the Donegal champions did put out the Gaels last year after all. Speaking of which, the fact that our county champions struggle to win a game in Ulster each year is a real mark of the poor level we're at.

In fairness there was nothing between them and the Gaels, could've gone either way. Donegal teams also have a poor record in Ulster club.
Will concede on Murphy and Lacey though.

I couldn't see any of the remaining clubs doing anything in Ulster this year. It does go to show how poor the standard of football is in Cavan when Kingscourt who are the bookies favourites to win the championship, haven't had a player on the county team this 2 years, Barry Reilly and Dillon were U-21's.

Great to see a final without the Gaels in it though

Ye can say that again... to have two new teams in a final will be unprecedented, after the Gaels were in it for last 13 years, winning 10 of them..

Ironic that the gaels are giving out about not get a point that was against killygarry when a gaels ref and umpire gave killygarry a point that wasn't in the gowna game.

We didnt argue with the ref even though it put killygarry 3 up and killed off our chances of winning the game after been 10 points down at one stage in the 2nd half
