Went to the knockbride/Belturbet game yesterday, Knockbride won by 7 ( should have been 27) but im afraid thats as far as Knockbride are going. Bailieboro will beat them handy.
Killygarry won well too so i think my predictions were fairly right.

Now hold on a minute i was at the game too. Belturbet were the better team in the first half, had the beating of them actually. I was impressed by them. They fell apart in the 2nd half, their good players didnt show. Knockbride were a dirty team.

I dono wat game you were at, Knockbride were a mile the better team, belturbet tried to play donegal style of football but they just hadnt got the fitness. they also got a very lucky goal, they never ever looked like winning. Knockbride werent dirty, they are just used to playing senior style of football and thats wat ya get against the likes of lacken,lurgan, templeport. Best team won, FACT! Bailieboro have nothing to worry bout tho, Also very funny bit of reffin, doesnt know ladies rules, did he ever ref ladies game before.

Look here i was at the same game as you, must be your first ladies game actually cause ya havent a clue wat ur on about!!
Knockbride were better in the second half & not the first. Belturbets defence were good, not like donegal at all. Did ya ever see them play??
Knockbride were dirty from the start so maybe ya werent at the same game. Yeah senior football, this is intermediate.
Da ref wasnt bad in fairness!!

dara10 your obviously from belturbet, just be honest about it and give a fair account of the game, belturbet were never goin to win, Calling knockbride dirty is a bit harsh i think, the played strong hard football, they got no sinbins so i dont think you can call them dirty.? In fairness Knockbride won and we're all going to get the game we want to see, Knockbribe v Bailieboro, On paper Bailieboro are mile the better team and should win handy but you never know in football. Ill be at it anyway to see what happens.

Im not from belturbet, im from stradone. Just have an interest in ladies football. They were a dirty team. Ok fair enough knockbride were the better team, belturbet didnt perform in the second half. So ur definetly from Bailieboro, but who cares like.

Hard to know who will win uptown girl, it'll be some game id say!!

To be honest I dont think either team were overly dirty. Belturbet were the better team on the day and probably should of won. Knockbride are no where near the team they use to be so Bailieboro will have no problem beating them. Will be more like a training session for them rather than a championship quarter final.

Dont think Knockbride really have any point to prove,Nobody expect them to win, the girls who left Knockbride in search of the promised land are the only ones with a point to prove. I was talking to one of the Knockbride girls at the weekend and she told me that they only have 5 players playing this year that started in the championship for them last year so i cant really see Knockbride winning this weekend as much as i would love to see them do so. My heart tells me Knockbride but my head tells me Bailieboro.

Yes I would say that is near enough correct that Knockbride have 5 players remaining that started C'ship last year but I was at the 9 a side game between these two teams (both only missing one player due to them playing county) earlier this year and although Bailieboro won it was only by a goal which in ladies football is only a kick of the ball. So despite Knockbride losing so many the rivalry between these teams is intense which means both teams are well up for it and so it should make for a good game.

Everone expects bailieborough to win including me, for the simply reason of daena clerkin if she shows up then knockbride are in trouble, but thats if she shows up she always seemed to be hit and miss for example last 2 county games.
Knockbride also have some strong and really good overall team. I think bailieborough will win but just about.
Is any teams missing players.

I was also at that 9 aside game, Bailiboro should of won by lot more, they were far better team and were also missing 2 key players that day too due to injury.. So everything points to an easy bailieboro victory. Although the rivalry may be intense Knockbride simply don't have the players to stop bailieboro.

I think Knockbride will be worrying about other players more than Deana, they know all about her and they will know how to "mark" her,she won't like it one bit. Knockbride will know alot about most of the bailieboro players but I still don't think this knowledge will be enough to help them get over the line, but I live in hope.

I Was at the Bailieboro Knockbride game last night, a great advertisement for ladies football and a massive crowd there to witness it. Knockbrides sheer passion and refusal to be beating was the difference on the day, Knockbride won by 4 points but should of been far more, they missed a penalty and had about 70% of the possession. Some great performances on Knockbride team, the young lassie who was markin deana had a great game, Carmel rogers controlled the game from start to finish, she's some woman for her age, and when Knockbride needed scores in second half Elaine Costin stepped up to the mark and scored some great points. How far can Knockbride go, have they any chance against Mullahoran,?
