Yes thats the lad but I was informed today that he will not be minor in January. He has to be brought into the U21 panel for we cannot afford to loose a player of this fellows ability to soccer.

If he couldn't make a club minor team in his last year sean adding him to the u21 panel would be a bit ridiculous . .20 mins as a sub in a minor game shouldn't merit a place in the u21 panel, . .maybe in a years time . ./

Name one player better than him. This guy came on and was carrying an injury as well. Why was he ignored then can you tell me from last years minors ??. This fellow has huge potential and let me tell you in the 20 minuets he put in a man of the match performance and I was very impressed with his overall display. I would have him in and let him get used to mixing with players of the future. But does he wish to get involved I don't know and does Peter Reilly want him I don't know ???

Fannon Brady and Byrnes could not make the Cavan minors either and they were streets ahead of players who were brought in. Byrnes transferred to Cavan Gaels and got called in then but has since returned to his original club.

On this years minor team ? could name a few. .well the fact that there was only 1 trial wouldn't help,he would of been addition to this years minor panel if he had of been brought in early,he didn't start for lavey/castlerahan in there semi final games either sean,maybe because he's in college,well the u21s have had some trials already Sean was he at them ? as for byrne,he was on the minors his 2nd last year but not last year,similar thing occured with enda hessin who wasn't kept til championship last year,would of been massive addition

He was and he was the difference in the end to who was going to be the winners thats how good he was and if you were at the match and could not see this well all I can say you are like many blinkered to quality.

I was at quiet a few minor championship games this year sean and have seen some good players, but i'm not the one saying that 18 year olds should be brought in on county U21 panels after 20 minutes of action. The U21 club championship is starting soon so hopefully we will get to see him again this year and if not sure he must be good enough to play with Castlerahan Senior next year so we should see plenty of him then.

The differance between the teams in the Minor final was gerard smith, did you notice him sean?

I've seen him fully fit and he's not as good as you seem to think Sean,reserve judgement til you've seen him a few times . .and as mentioned Gerard Smith was the difference between the two teams,without him they not only wouldn't have won the final,they wouldn't have got there . .

I picked young Smith as man of the match but Number 15 gave him a close run, The young lad that came on as a sub was not going to win man of the match and if he had been on for the full term I expect he may well have won it. He is good you know he is good and he needs to be looked after take it anyway you like.
You say reserve judgement well tell me would any of the senior Castlerahan senior players be brought into the county panel on their last three performances NO but I expect there will be 3 or 4 on it. I know what is good I know what is bad but do you. Time to move the bad on and bring in the good and that young lad is good, I wonder are you jealous ???????
