Do we expect the same story as the league with Kingscourt/Shercock dominating or is there any upsets on the cards?

O raghaillaigh weren't at the races in the league final none of their players played well how would they be up for it after hammering everyone in league?

i dont give st finbars or castlerahen much hope because i dont think they have the quality simple as. Ramor and Templeport are both very young teams so i dont have much hope for them..... Gaels aren't the same Cavan Gaels team that have dominated down the years there falling apart and St joes are also hard to call because on the day there good but if there not on form there bad VERY bad and kingscourt/shercock are still a strong side. IN MY OPINION!!

Kingscout were good enough to win the league on their own. There was no need to join up looking for glory and hammer every other team. They shouldn't have been allowed to join, simple as, but it is a further demonstration how clueless and/or little the county minor board know/care about the standard of underage football in the county. Would St.Finbarrs not be in Division 2 if they finished last in the Division 1 league?

St.Finbarrs were bet by no more than 3 points in any of their games this year including o raghallaigh and drawing with Joes. .while missing players, just cant afford to lose players due to short numbers. .word is that they could be joining with Laragh and not drumgoon ? . .Amalgamations for championship will make it very competitive Joes and Drumlane will be a strong outfit

Are the gaels definitely joining up? Surely they should win it out if they do.

hate 2 see all these amalganations.taking away from the whole spirit of the game. in my day the club was everything and everywhen in the community played.people complain about seanie trying 2 go 2 kildare.as it is against what the gaa is about. this is much more serious in my opinion. as it stands ramor are the only team in divsion 1 not amalganating. fair play is what i say to them.

Personally I feel its ridiculous , a club the size and success of cavan gaels being allowed to join with another club. How are clubs such as ballymacugh, ramor and othets supposed to compete on their own against such amalgmations. Fair enough clubs such as Kill and drung joining together but not the biggest and.most successful club especially at this grade for the last 15 years joining with another relatively big club.

Ramor are the only club in division one without any county minors and there not amalgamating!
